Specs before code
Milestones, specs and JSON data contracts are written first. Unity and Python agree on schemas, not on each other's internals.
Miaw Works is an independent game studio from Pune, India. We make games in Unity, and we build the tools that test them, because the best time to find a bug is before a player does.
Every game we make prints logs. Lots of them. During a long playtest the same exception can fire hundreds of times while the one warning that matters scrolls past. Somebody then has to turn that pile into tickets by hand.
So we built Miaw QA Lab: a Unity package that records every playtest, a seeded bot that plays the build while detectors watch, and a Python tool that groups the noise into a short, ranked list of real bugs.
We use AI where it helps, writing clear reports and reading screenshots, and we fence it in where it doesn't: it never sets priority, it has to cite evidence that exists, and the whole thing still works with the model switched off.
We build in the open. The plan, the specs, every design decision with the alternatives we rejected, and every known limitation are in the repository.

pytest runs fully offline with a fake model. Engine-free C# is compiled like Unity does and tested on .NET in CI.
Every non-obvious choice gets a numbered decision record: context, options, consequences. You can read why, not only what.
Sora is a game developer in Pune who works in Unity and C#, and a computer engineering student. Miaw Works started from a simple frustration: playtests produce far more noise than signal, and the tools that promise to fix it with AI tend to make things up.
Sora designs the studio's games and its tooling, owns every design decision in QA Lab, and reviews every change that goes into it.
